HART
The
Eureka! Historic Artifact Recovery Team (HART) was formed in 1999 to provide
assistance to historical societies and museums on a local, county, state, or
national scope. Those who sign up for this team may be called upon to help
recover artifacts in known or suspected historical locations. Participation in
the team may mean either detecting an area and placing pin flags at target
locations or full recovery of targets. Typically, all targets recovered wil be
given to the institution that we are assisting. Areas may be rough, a long
distance away, small, or very large. The representative of the institution in
charge will determine the size of the team needed and the qualifications of team
members.
